Cookie policy

Version of 20 October 2026. This is a translation of the French original (« Politique cookies »); in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

This page describes the cookies and other trackers (browser local storage, identifiers) used on the Fonea website, published by [to be completed], their purpose, their duration and how to manage your choices, in accordance with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the recommendations of the CNIL.

1. What is a tracker?

A tracker is information stored on or read from your device during your visit: a cookie, data in your browser's local storage or an identifier. Some are essential to the operation of the website and exempt from consent; the others are only used with your consent.

2. Essential trackers (exempt from consent)

• Cart — nx_cart:v2:<shop> (local storage) and nxcart_<shop> cookie: keep the contents of your cart when you come back to the website. Duration: 90 days after the cart was last changed.
• Wishlist — nexora-wishlist (local storage): keep your wishlist. Duration: until you empty it.
• Customer account login — Firebase Authentication session (firebaseLocalStorageDb, browser storage): keep you logged in. Duration: until you log out.
• Your cookie choices — nx_consent:<shop>: remember your acceptance or refusal. Duration: 6 months, after which you are asked again; an objection to audience measurement is respected for 13 months.
• Language and currency — nx_lang_choice:<shop> and nx_currency:<shop>: remember the language and currency you chose. Duration: until you change them.
• Newsletter sign-up window — nx_nl_popup:<shop>: not show it again after you close it or sign up. Duration: 30 days after you close it; after you sign up, 13 months.
• Payment — Stripe cookies (__stripe_mid: 1 year, __stripe_sid: 30 minutes) set on the payment page: secure payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's responsibility.

3. Anonymous audience measurement

To know how many people visit the shop, we use our own audience measurement tool, exempt from consent under the conditions set by the CNIL: it is used only to produce anonymous statistics for our own account, does not track your browsing on other websites, is not combined with your account, orders or emails, is not passed on to any third party and stores no IP address.

• nx_vid and nx_vid_at (local storage): random identifier and its creation date, renewed at least every 13 months.
• nx_vday:<shop> (local storage, 1 day) and nx_lastpv:<shop> (session storage): count only one visit per day.

Detailed statistics are deleted after 25 months. You can object to this measurement in "Manage cookies", or with "Reject all" when the banner offers it: the identifiers are then deleted.

4. Trackers subject to your consent

• Google Analytics — _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies, set by Google: detailed audience measurement. Duration: 13 months at most. These cookies are only set if the shop uses this service and only after your consent ("Accept all" or activation in "Customise"); data may be transferred to the United States under the framework described in the privacy policy.

The website uses no advertising or social network trackers. If a page embeds a video or a map from a third-party service, that service may set its own trackers when you start it.

Our emails contain no open-tracking pixel or individual tracking link.

5. Managing your choices

When the shop uses trackers that require your consent (Google Analytics), a banner lets you, from your first visit, accept all, reject all or choose purpose by purpose; closing the banner or clicking "Continue without accepting" counts as a refusal. Otherwise, your consent is not requested: the shop may display a simple information banner, from which you can also object to the anonymous audience measurement ("Customise"). You can change your choices at any time, as easily as you made them, using the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies and local storage. Refusing the trackers subject to consent has no effect on your use of the website; however, deleting the essential trackers empties your cart and wishlist and logs you out of your account.
